Opening Times

Redbournbury Mill will be open throughout the year on the following days:

Saturdays 9am - 1pm (shop for flour only - mill museum closed until further notice)

When the mill museum reopens (post-COVID), there are four floors of the mill museum to explore and comprehensive displays on how the mill works. The millers try to have the machinery working and producing flour on Sunday afternoons and the mill shop sells our range of Organic stoneground flours in sizes from 1.5kg - 25kg.

The bakery bread stall is open on Saturdays from 9am - 1pm

Mill Museum admission charges: FREE during 2021. [COVID UPDATE - the mill museum is closed until further notice and is NOT currently open on Sunday afternoons]

The mill has very limited space for parking cars. There is a very pleasant walk along the river from Verulamium carpark, St Albans AL3 4SW or Redbourn Common, AL3 7DB. Bus route 34 from St Albans to Redbourn stops by request at the end of Redbournbury Lane, 200 yards from the mill. From Harpenden, visitors can walk to the mill down Beesonend Lane.
